On Tuesday, the United Nations confirmed that a cargo flight, operated by the World Food Program, landed in the northern city of Cap-Haïtien, carrying more than 11 metric tons of hygiene and sanitation products, as well as educational materials.
The World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization distributed almost four tons of medicines and supplies to medical centers in the Port-au-Prince area.

The spokesman was optimistic about the deployment of the multinational force, approved by the Security Council and led by Kenya, despite the fact that it is underfunded and has no date for its implementation.
